06:24 pm - survey for mochi magazine
Hi everyone! My name is Melissa, and I am a writer for Mochi Magazine. Mochi is a brand new teen magazine that is specific to Asian/Pacific Islander American girls. We are very excited to announce that we have begun work on our first issue, which we hope to release this August.

I am currently working on an article on the upcoming presidential elections, with special attention to first time voters. In order to get some opinions from the APA community, I've created a short survey. If you guys get a chance, I would really appreciate if you could take the time to fill it out!

Full Name:
What ethnicity do you identify as?
Who is your preferred presidential candidate? Why? What political issues are most important to you?
If you are 18 or older, do you plan on voting this November?
Would you be able to follow up with me in a telephone interview?

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at melissa[at]mochimag.com!

10:10 am - Asian Survey
I'm taking a class titled Culture, Identity, and the Asian American Experience. As a part of our project regarding Asian / Asian American identities, we need people to help complete a survey. Please, please, please help us if you have the time and are an Asian American / in American. It's only 15 questions and 4 of them are demographics so it shouldn't take that long. THANK YOU. <3

My company is sending me back to China next month! I'm so excited. I'm going back to my home country, and I get a chance to raise drug-free children with decent folks around.

I don't plan on coming back. Being an Asian-American sucks. I think most of you are morally corrupt, devoid of sympathy, and generally a displeasure to be around weith. I hate to be labeled as an "Asian-American".
